Support the bag
Empty before it is full. Support it without pulling on the catheter.
Open the tap
Drain without letting the outlet touch the toilet, floor or container.
Close securely
Close the tap. Clean the outlet according to device instructions.
Check
Return the bag below the bladder; wash hands. Record volume only if requested.
